dekker is ONE!

mmm... dirt cake!

i made him a skor/ granddpa hicken's chocolate pudding/ ghiredelli fudge cake-

with worms on top in the back of 2 of his dump trucks.

he had a great time getting filthy

i can't believe my baby boy is one!
he is just the cutest thing. lately he has been obsessed with his tooth brush, he drags it around the house with him. one night he wouldn't go to sleep without it. when he gets upset he usually shrieks. in fact he shrieks and screams a lot. he also makes the biggest kissy lips when things don't go his way. he doesn't kiss to show affection, he mushes his face into yours and holds it there. i just love, love, love him!

the day after he learned to crawl i caught him in the bathroom twice like this!
of course being the germaphobe that i am, he went directly into the tub.
and i learned to close bathroom doors.
